PMDC 3 Big Notifications regarding MDCAT 2025

Recently, PMDC has uploaded 3 official notifications regarding MDCAT 2025 on the same day which are extremely important for all the candidates appearing in MDCAT 2025.

MDCAT 2025 Delay Notice:

Firstly, PMDC has decided to delay MDCAT 2025 which was previously, scheduled for 05 October 2025. The new date announced by PMDC to conduct MDCAT 2025 will be 26 October 2025 on Sunday. We have already shared this expected decision by PMDC.

This notification was shared by PMDC on 12th September 2025. PMDC has stated that this decision has been taken considering the ongoing flood and rains situation in Pakistan. A lot of areas has been affected badly due to which students / candidates were demanding PMDC to delay MDCAT which PMDC has finally listened to.

However, a lot of students are still not happy or we could say they are not 100% satisfied. They are demanding for a long delay of MDCAT because, currently a lot of areas in Pakistan are in emergency situation due to ongoing floods.

This should also by considered that already MDCAT 2025 is delayed a lot compared to normal window of conducting MDCAT. The government has somehow listened to the demands of the students which is appreciable.

Also due to delay in MDCAT 2025, there would be an assure delay in Admissions Process for MBBS/BDS session 2025-26. Due to which, Medical Colleges may protest or put up a case against the government or PMDC.

Moreover, a copy of this notification has been forwarded to the admitting universities of the concerned province to adjust all the arrangements according to the new date of conducting MDCAT 2025.

MDCAT 2025 Delay Notice

PMDC Clarified Rumor:

In another notice, PMDC has shared a notification declaring it’s fakeness to all of the students. Basically, as PMDC shared delay notice officially, a lot of fake notifications started to circulate on social media saying PMDC has further delayed MDCAT to the month of November.

Due the fact that a lot of students start believing that notice and it has been gone viral, PMDC has clarified this through their official site that this notice is fake.

Moreover, PMDC has reminded the students/candidates to keep visiting their official website to remain aware of all the official and latest updates.

PMDC also, in some other posts, has highlighted this fact multiple times, and they are continuously telling all the students not to be included in the hype of social media because this can mislead a lot of students and parents as well. In all cases, students are highly encouraged to visit only trusted sources. Even if, somehow, they listen to some fake update or news, they should come up to the official and trusted sources to verify that news.

The government is currently ensuring a platform in the cyber world where there is no form of fakeness and no chance for the spread of rumors. It is now our responsibility to support the government by being informed and knowledgeable enough not to fall into the trap of these rumors and not to believe in them. Keep visiting official and trusted sources as said earlier.

PMDC reopened Registration Portal:

Now there is a good news again for students by PMDC. They have officially reopened the registration portal for two more days till 16 September 2025. Now students who were not able to register previously can now register with a prescribed fee which is late fee set by PMDC earlier.

Those candidates who have already applied also get a chance to alter or add their details, if they weren’t able to add those details previously.

This decision has been taken with respect to their decision regarding MDCAT 2025 delay. Because the date was extended, therefore, a lot of candidates are demanding PMDC to reopen registration portal which PMDC also have accepted and reopened the portal.

This question regarding changing of the credentials of candidates has been asked a lot. It is because PMDC has said not to give permission to any candidate to change his or her credentials once they have entered and saved them. But as a lot of students are finding problems with their data being not entered correctly, PMDC has given permission to edit the details of each candidate who has entered them incorrectly. But reminding you again, this offer is valid only till 16th September 2025.

There is also an important point shared in this notification which is regarding prescribed fee. It is informed to all the interested candidates that PMDC is referring here to the late fee. Therefore, students are advised to check the rates of fee applied to them according to the dates of their registration for MDCAT 2025.

Conclusion:

These 3 notifications have been shared by PMDC not separately but together at the same time. Also, these notifications are different; however, they relate to each other and complement each other in some way or the other. So, please save these notifications and always visit the official news section of PMDC to avoid being manipulated by any fake news.

Kindly reduce the fsc weightage from 40% to 10% and increased the mdcat weightage because in province like Sindh and Balochistan there is full cheating as well they get marks through income money….so, this the Best choice to reduce fsc weightage……and suggest you all that it’s better to vanished the matriculation weightage….. MDCAT is a real challenge for All l….so, kindly remove this frustration to all poor students as soon as possible.
