PMDC has established new centers at Islamabad and in Sindh for Sindh and Balochistan domicile holders. On 22 August, 2025, PMDC has shared an official notification in which they have announced to establish new centers for medical students.
Why PMDC announced new centers.
With increasing complaints from students, PMDC has finally decided to facilitate those students who reside in Islamabad but have a domicile of Sindh and Balochistan and find it very difficult to go back to their actual domicile centers.
One more center other than Islamabad has been established in Sindh which is in Jacobabad (City in Sindh) right after Dera Allah Yar.
Candidates who are willing to apply medical colleges under Bolan Medical University, Quetta and Sukkur IBA University, Sukkur can avail this facility.
Important Note:
This update is only applicable on MDCAT 2025. For upcoming MDCATs there is no guarantee that this policy would be implemented there also.
